1. Services
TDT provides freight forwarding, package consolidation, and door-to-door shipping services between the United States and The Bahamas. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Standard and express parcel shipping
- Freight and bulk cargo handling
- Customs clearance assistance
- Package tracking and status notifications
- Invoice generation and payment processing
2. Shipping Rates & Fees
All rates are subject to change without prior notice. Current standard rates are as follows:

A minimum charge of $8.50 applies per shipment. Additional fees may apply for standard handling ($3–$8), customs processing ($10–$15), express/priority service (+$10), fragile/special handling (+$10–$20), and same-day clearance (+$20). Duty & taxes are not included and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate sender and recipient information at the time of booking.
- Ensure all packages are properly packed and labeled before drop-off.
- Declare the correct contents and value of all shipments.
- Comply with all applicable import/export laws and regulations.
- Pay all applicable shipping charges, duties, and taxes in a timely manner.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from shipment through TDT:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or explosives
- Counterfeit goods or items infringing on intellectual property rights
- Perishable foods without prior arrangement
- Live animals
- Any item prohibited by Bahamian or U.S. customs law
TDT reserves the right to refuse, hold, or return any shipment suspected of containing prohibited items. The customer will be held liable for any fines, penalties, or costs incurred as a result.
5. Liability & Claims
TDT's liability for lost or damaged shipments is limited to the declared value of the package, not to exceed $100 USD per shipment unless additional insurance is purchased. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
TDT is not liable for delays caused by customs inspections, weather, natural disasters, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Payment Terms
All shipping charges are due and payable prior to or upon release of the shipment. TDT accepts cash, bank transfers, and approved electronic payment methods. Invoices not paid within 30 days of issuance may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. TDT reserves the right to withhold delivery of packages until all outstanding balances are settled.
7. Customs & Duties
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all shipments comply with the customs regulations of The Bahamas and the United States. TDT may assist with customs documentation as a convenience service, but does not guarantee customs clearance. Any duties, taxes, or penalties assessed by customs authorities are the exclusive responsibility of the customer or recipient.
8. Privacy
TDT collects and processes personal information (name, address, contact details) solely for the purpose of providing shipping and logistics services. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as required to complete your shipment (e.g., customs authorities, delivery partners). By using our services, you consent to this use of your information.
9. Modifications to Terms
TDT reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage customers to review this page periodically.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nassau, The Bahamas.
