The following items cannot be shipped with TDT Thingem Dem Things. This list complies with Bahamian Customs regulations and international shipping standards. When in doubt, contact us before booking.

- Flammable liquids (gasoline, lighter fluid, acetone)
- Compressed gases (propane, butane, aerosols)
- Corrosive chemicals (acids, bleach in bulk)
- Radioactive materials
- Toxic or poisonous substances
- Oxidizers and organic peroxides
Controlled Substances
- Illegal narcotics and drugs of any kind
- Prescription medications without valid documentation
- Drug paraphernalia
- Synthetic drugs and research chemicals
Live Animals & Perishables
- Live animals (contact us for special arrangements)
- Insects, reptiles, and exotic species
- Unpackaged or improperly packaged perishable food
- Human remains (require special permits)
ℹ️ Properly packaged frozen or refrigerated goods may be accepted — contact us first.
Currency & High-Value Items
- Cash, banknotes, and coins in large quantities
- Negotiable instruments (blank checks, money orders)
- Uninsured jewelry over $500 in value
- Precious metals and gemstones without declaration
ℹ️ High-value items must be declared and may require additional insurance.
Counterfeit & Illegal Goods
- Counterfeit currency or documents
- Pirated software, media, or counterfeit branded goods
- Stolen property of any kind
- Items that violate intellectual property rights
- Goods subject to trade sanctions or embargoes
Batteries & Electronics
- Damaged, recalled, or defective lithium batteries
- Loose lithium batteries not in devices (without proper packaging)
- Hoverboards and e-scooters with non-certified batteries
ℹ️ Lithium batteries in devices (laptops, phones) are accepted with proper packaging.
Environmental & Agricultural
- Invasive plant species or seeds without permits
- Soil and unprocessed plant material
- Protected wildlife or wildlife products (CITES-listed)
- Asbestos and PCBs
- Ozone-depleting substances
